If Alvise Cagnazzo is to be believed, then it appears that Liverpool and Manchester City are open to offering bids for the Juventus stopper, who is leaving Italian football at the end of their season and could turn up in the Premier League. It was thought that the Buffon would be retiring but he is expected to put those plans on hold if the right offer comes along.
Juventus are targeting the Chelsea striker and former Juventus player. Having scored 11 goals in his first season at last years champions from 31 appearances, the Italian club are eager to bring Morata “home”, although this is thought to be on a loan basis rather than a buying option. However, they could well have competition from Borussia Dortmund who are also keen to sign the striker. The German side are keen to sign the striker on a permanent move which would free up funds for Chelsea to spend themselves
Manchester City are close to signing the Napoli midfielder according to his agent. Only the thorny issue of the fee is to be settled. The Italian club are looking for £60 million whilst the Premier League champions are hoping to sign at around £50 million.
Football Italia are reporting that Manchester United are on the verge of signing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro. The agreed fee appears to be in the region of £43 million for the 27-year-old Brazilian. Official confirmation is expected in the next few days, but not until after the FA Cup final at the weekend. The Brazilian is known to be looking to leave Juventus and is wanting a change of scenery which the Premier League will bring.
Leicester City have agreed a fee of £17.5m for 24-year-old Portugal defender Ricardo Pereira. The deal will see the Porto player move over to the Premier League; it is known he wants a new challenge. The English top flight will provide what the defender is looking for. The initial fee will grow with add-ons and is likely to be announced soon by Porto. Leicester targetted the youngster previously and have been locked in talks for around three weeks.
