Just over one year ago, Neymar made a shock switch from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain. He went down as the most expensive player ever. Although he decided to switch, he could be regretting his decision. The Brazilian is reportedly wanting a return to his former club.

Neymar Could Make a Barcelona Return

It was claimed that the reason Neymar left was to build his own career. He felt he was in Messi’s ‘shadow’, and wanted to be the star of the team. Now that he left, new problems are arising. He could now be behind teammate Kylian Mbappe, who is stealing the spotlight. He feels he is being left out once again.

According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona are open to accepting the Brazilian. The legendary attacking trio ‘MSN’ could be reunited. Although the 26-year-old has been playing well in France, he feels his heart lies in Barcelona.

Neymar has scored 13 goals and has completed four assists in all competitions. He has a trio of his own in France. Mbappe, Cavani and himself are one of the most lethal attacking lines in Europe. He is a key player in Thomas Tuchel’s squad and it would be a great loss if they are to lose him. A lot of money was spent and to lose him after one year would be horrible.

Barcelona have a great squad. Their attack is dangerous and is able to destroy top clubs. If the return is going to take place, someone might need to leave. With Ousmane Dembele’s future in doubt, Neymar’s arrival can seal his departure.

As the Catalans are fighting for the Champions League, the former Santos man would be a great addition. He will surely boost the squad, though the fee should be taken into consideration. It will surely be an expensive move and PSG will not let him go for cheap. His future can be anywhere, but he is expected to excel wherever he goes.
