According to a tweet by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are looking to sign Manchester United winger Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean’s agent is reportedly in England working on deal between the two clubs.

Inter Milan Looking to Sign Alexis Sanchez

Looking to End His Misery at Old Trafford

Alexis Sanchez has endured a miserable 18 months at Old Trafford since his move from Arsenal in January 2018. He has made just 30 appearances during his time with Manchester United, scoring just three times.

A lot was expected of the Chilean when he completed his move to Manchester United from Arsenal. He had seen emphatic form in the season before his move to Old Trafford with Arsenal, scoring 27 goals in all competitions. However, with reported £300,000-a-week wages, there was pressure for him to begin quickly and been the decisive factor in the Red Devils’ season.

A Move to Inter Milan Would Be Good for Alexis Sanchez

The deal to take Alexis Sanchez is reported to be a loan move. However, a loan deal could prove a good move for all parties.

Inter Milan have recently lost world class winger Ivan Perisic to German side Bayern Munich. The Croatian has moved to the Bundesliga champions on a season-long loan. As a result, Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has been searching quickly for a replacement, and he would be replacing one world class winger with another.

Meanwhile, Manchester United would be getting rid of somebody who has fallen down the pecking order of wingers. There are a number of players who can now be considered ahead of him at Old Trafford, and as a result, he needs to search for first-team football.

Second Signing of The Summer From Manchester United

Should he sign, Alexis Sanchez would be the second arrival of the summer at Inter Milan from Manchester United. Striker Romelu Lukaku joined earlier in the summer.
