Fantasy Premier League gameweek twelve sees the top two clash at Anfield. That poses a lot of problems for the FPL managers. Let us find out how best to navigate this sticky gameweek.

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Twelve Picks

Goalkeepers

Martin Dubravka has kept two clean sheets in his last three home matches. Bournemouth have been struggling to score goals of late. So, this could present a decent opportunity for the Slovakian goalkeeper to add to his clean sheet tally. His opposite number Aaron Ramsdale has not conceded in the last three matches. So, he is also someone that should be considered.

Nick Pope has a decent shot at a clean sheet as well.

Defenders

Defenders from Newcastle United and Bournemouth should be considered as that match could end goalless. Diego Rico has been pretty amazing for his price. Jetro Willems could be a good option as well.

Burnley’s defence will look to tighten things up this week after last week’s horror display at Sheffield United. However, Sean Dyche might make one or two changes so one must be careful while picking defenders from the clarets.

One just cannot ignore Trent Alexander-Arnold. Despite his tough match-up this week, he still should create some good opportunities for the attackers and could get attacking as well as defensive points.

Ricardo Pereira and Ben Chilwell are decent options as well for the in-form Leicester City side.

Midfielders

James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Ayoze Pérez are all good picks this week. The tricky thing is to pick the right one for this particular week.

Sadio Mané has been in superb form this season. Liverpool will look to him to provide the breakthrough against the defending champions.

Christian Pulisic is hot right now and perhaps it is the right time to get on the Pulisic train. With Mason Mount doubtful, his chances of starting are much better. Willian is also a decent pick.

Sheffield United have been very impressive this season and will not make things easy for Tottenham Hotspur this week. However, one has to consider Son Heung-min who scored a brace in midweek and has the potential to go big in any game.

Strikers

Jamie Vardy is the highest-scoring FPL player so far this season and he has a really mouth-watering tie against Arsenal. Looking at recent matches, there is absolutely no doubt that Vardy loves playing against the Gunners. He has scored eight goals in nine matches against them including two in this particular fixture last season. He seems like an absolute must-have pick this season.

Tammy Abraham ended his barren spell last week with a goal against Watford. He has another favourable fixture this week at home to Crystal Palace. The Eagles have a decent defense but one has to emphasise Chelsea‘s lethal attack line. They just played out a thrilling eight-goal encounter against Ajax.

Teemu Pukki has not managed to find the net in the last six matches for Norwich City. The Pukki Party could be back on this week though as the canaries welcome the premier league’s only winless side Watford to Carrow Road.

Burnley have been struggling recently and have lost the last three matches. They have a decent chance of turning things around this week against West Ham United at Turf Moor. The absence of Chris Wood has definitely affected them. His partnership with Ashley Barnes could resume this week and that will be imposing for the Hammers.

Harry Kane, Raúl Jiménez and Marcus Rashford should also be considered this week.
