Manchester United Transfer Increasingly Likely for Jadon Sancho
Several Teams in the Race
Lots of teams want to have Sancho at their club, making him one of the hottest transfer prospects going into the summer window. The Englishman has played admirably for Borussia Dortmund, especially this season.
He has the Bundesliga’s third most goals, 14, second-most assists, 15, and is top in the league for both combined. He is an elite chance creator, dribbler and all-around winger, and looks set for a move elsewhere.
Manchester United Emerging as Favourites For Jadon Sancho
While there have been many European giants to show interest in Sancho, United have become the most likely team for him to join.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s signings so far have been extremely successful, and he will look to further that with a move for the 20-year-old. The England international could see offers from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona come his way, with many options facing him, but the Manchester side seem to have taken the lead in this race.
There are many features of the current Red Devils side which could attract the 25-year-old. United’s tremendous history is a given, while the young and exciting squad is another reason for Sancho to join.
In particular, another article by the Evening Standard outlined three players who he is excited to work with.
One United star who has outperformed expectations this season, Marcus Rashford, has already developed a friendship with the Dortmund winger, and they could form a great on-pitch relationship as well as off it.
Furthermore, he rates Anthony Martial, and the Frenchman could head the line with Rashford and Sancho to his left and right respectively.
Finally, Mason Greenwood, one of the most promising talents in Europe, has him excited. The English centre-forward has shown his incredible finishing ability in his first-team breakout this season and could become one of the best strikers in the world.
Many authority figures at Borussia Dortmund are increasingly confident that Sancho could be on his way to Manchester United this summer, after an epic race for his signature.
