Manchester United, Everton and Napoli could sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer, Italian news outlet Calciomercato reports.

The 26-year-old striker’s good form raised plenty of interest around Europe and Belotti looks set to leave Torino this summer.

Interest in Belotti

Belotti scored 15 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this season before football was suspended in March.

His goal-scoring ability created interest from Everton and United. However, both clubs will need to compete with each other, in addition to top Italian teams, if they want to sign Belotti.

Belotti seemingly favours a move to Napoli and remains eager to link up with Gli Azzurri boss Gennaro Gattuso.

Torino chairman Urbano Cairo also looks resigned to losing Belotti this summer following continuous interest in the striker.

Everton’s Offer

According to Italian news provider Tuttosport, Torino rejected a €45 million bid for Belotti from Everton.

The report suggests that Carlo Ancelotti wants to increase the bid for the Torino talisman. Ancelotti needs to improve his attacking options for next season and sees Belotti as his key target at Goodison Park.

Sixty-year-old Ancelotti wanted to sign Belotti whilst in charge of Napoli last season and remains keen on securing the Italian striker.

Offered to United

Reports from Calciomercato suggest that Torino offered Belotti to United recently, but the Red Devils stalled in their response to Torino.

United continue to work on signing a number of transfer targets this summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants particular players from a shortlist of 14 players.

It is not the first time United expressed interest in Belotti. They almost signed the Italian striker in summer 2017 but signed Romelu Lukaku from Everton instead.

While Belotti may not be the club’s main target this summer, he could be an alternative option for Solskjaer if his primary targets don’t come to fruition.
